I just love Genna and Gabe, and the story of how I ended up photographing their wedding is just crazy so I’m going to share it with you! Gabe and I used to work on the ambulance together, and one day he started talking about his fiance Genna, and how they were going to get married soon. We both then realized that Genna and I had been in an orchestra together YEARS before – we had both played in the flute section! It was so fun to reconnect, and turns out Genna had been eyeing my photography for her wedding for awhile. Genna is a hard-working pediatric nurse and Gabe is an entrepreneur who is making his way in the business world and it is SO great to see them start a new life together. I know they will go far!
Their wedding was all sunshine and daisies and a grandmother-flower-girl (cutest EVER), and laughter and dancing and happy tears. Ralston’s Crossing is an ADORABLE little venue not 10 minutes from where I live, hidden away (I didn’t know it even existed until this wedding!). The owner is a photographer himself and has set up the entire venue to be a photographer’s greatest playground. For example…there are 3 tree swings in one tree, placed so that you can have the couple backlit no matter what time of day it is! I mean for real. (And yes. Adorable swing photos below).
Congratulations, Genna and Gabe!
